Bridget's Cradles is currently looking for part and full-time volunteer administrative assistants to support their mission of comforting bereaved families.

Volunteer administrative assistants would work closely with the Executive Director, Director of Operations, and Director of Communications.

Volunteer Admin assistant

Bridget’s Cradles seeks a highly-reliable person interested in serving as a volunteer Administrative Assistant. This position will support the organization’s Executive Director, Director of Operations, and Director of Communications. This person will play a large role in allowing us to reach more bereaved families and hospitals across the country by assisting with vital administrative tasks.
Possible duties include, but are not limited to: cradle and donation processing, hospital box preparation, data entry, Internet research projects, assisting with the preparation and execution of large mailings, and various other projects based on organizational need.
Additionally, this person may also be trained to serve as a liaison to Bridget’s Cradles knitting and crocheting volunteers and hospitals, generate volunteer email communications, and create social posts and graphics, if desired.​

This opportunity is for those who live in or near Wichita, KS and can volunteer at our main headquarters in Kechi, Kansas, and from home (if preferred).

Requirements & Commitment

Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Bridget's Cradles and passionate about serving bereaved families who have lost a baby to miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death

Resides in or near Wichita, KS

Must be able to contribute a minimum of 4 hours a week of volunteer service (maximum 40 hours)

Must be able to commit to a minimum of one year of volunteer service

Minimum volunteer age requirement is 18 years

Ability to follow given instructions and work on tasks independently

General experience using Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Docs
