The Cradled in Hope Podcast
Ep 1: Welcome to Cradled

I have a fancy professional bio here, but what is most important for you to know is that my first and only daughter, Bridget, went to Heaven and Jesus was the only One who could put the shattered pieces of my heart back together. Maybe your heart is broken too?

If so, I'm here to be your friend and walk with you on your grief journey. More importantly, I'm here to point you to Jesus, the only One who can heal your heart and promise you eternity with your baby in Heaven. Hold my hand, friend, and let's start this journey together.

I'm a grieving mom who found comfort in Christ.

Cradled in Hope Voted
Best Female Podcast

award-winning podcast

For two consecutive years (2022-23), Cradled in Hope was voted the fan-favorite "Best Female Podcast" at the Spark Media Awards, a Christian conference dedicated to faith-based podcasts held in Nashville and Houston.

Host Ashley Opliger had the opportunity to meet Adam Curry, the inventor of podcasting. While Spark Media is no longer active, Bridget's Cradles is proud to have received this recognition.

A Comfort to Many

This podcast does such a wonderful job ministering to women who have gone through the terrible loss of a baby. It highlights so many important aspects of grief, many of which aren't usually spoken about which often leaves moms feeling lonely. More importantly, it points
women to hope in Christ, the only place where true peace can be found in the midst of sorrow. It has ministered to me after my stillbirth and I hope it reaches many other hurting moms.

Thankful

So thankful I found this podcast. It has brought me so much comfort over the last month since my beautiful little girl went to be with Jesus. They truly help make an unimaginable situation a bit more bearable by sharing how they trust the only true comforter - Jesus. Thank
you from the bottom of my heart for what you do, Ashley and those who also share their heartbreaking story.

Healing for my grieving heart

This podcast has comforted my grieving heart more than I thought it could. After losing my newborn daughter Sloane in September, I was broken and didn't know if I could find a way to put my heart back together. The Lord blessed me and my husband with the comfort we've
found in the infant/pregnancy loss community. It is comforting, heart breaking and healing all in one, each time I listen to an episode. Hearing others stories and how God has worked
in their lives through the loss of their children gives me so much hope in the darkness of grief.

Miscarriage Support

This podcast has been so helpful for me during my miscarriage. It was a
struggle and the podcasts have helped me find God's and grace and love as I
grieve. Very thankful and blessed for the opportunity to listen to these.

Amazing Ministry

This podcast does such an amazing job ministering to women who have tragically lost a baby. I lost my third son at 19 weeks in August of 2023 and this ministry has helped me learn to cope with my grief and with my relationship with The Lord. Ashley highlights so many unspoken aspects of grief and pregnancy/ infant loss, all while pointing women back to Jesus, who brings us comfort and hope. I could not be more thankful to Ashley and this ministry for helping out women who have gone through this difficult and traumatic journey.

Best Podcast to Help Grieve after Pregnancy Loss

This podcast has been my favorite podcast to listen to after I lost my son at 19 weeks from cervical incompetence. Bridget's Cradles provided a beautiful cradle to us so we could hold our son comfortably while in the hospital for a few days.

When I heard they were starting a podcast, I knew I wanted to listen in since I love their mission and I'm so glad I follow them and listen to all the new episodes. This podcast brings me to tears every time I listen because they openly discuss the raw feelings of pregnancy loss and infertility. But that is
because the speakers/guests help validate my feelings and help me grieve the loss of our son. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who has been impacted by pregnancy loss or infertility, not just loss parents. Thankful for this podcast during my healing journey.

Honest and Hope-Filled Podcast

This podcast is a wonderful place to find hope and comfort no matter where you are in your grief journey. Ashley and her guests are open, honest, and vulnerable as they insightfully share about their journeys through tragedy, grief, and healing. Each Cradled in Hope episode provides a message of encouragement while using Scripture to remind listeners of the hope of Heaven and seeing our babies there one day.

Thank You for Sharing Your Stories

Thank you to Ashley and other podcast presenters for sharing heartfelt stories
of losing babies. I wish I would have had such support 40 years ago when I
miscarried at 12 weeks. Listening to the podcasts help me remember and
grieve a precious life, taken too soon, but waiting for me in Heaven.

Hands and Feet of Jesus

Bridget's Cradles blessed us when our son Harrison was born at 15 weeks gestation. The white knit cradle helped us hold him and view what God had created. Now as we navigate his loss, this podcast has been such a great resource. Thank you, Ashley and team, for all you do to serve bereaved families like ours.

Such a Healing Experience

This podcast found me 2 years after my daughter was stillborn. This was such a healing experience for me, to listen to others who have walked this path and found hope in Jesus Christ. I've been a believer my whole life, but after my full-term loss and a miscarriage, I needed to hear these stories to heal part of my heart. I knew that God provided for me
during my losses and He was going to provide me in the future. There's something about connecting with another grieving mother that is so intense and emotionally healing. If you
need to hear a message of hope after a devastating loss, this is a safe place for your heart to land.

Healing and Helpful

I recently experienced a pregnancy loss at 23 weeks gestation and could not be more thankful to have found this podcast. I feel like Ashley is speaking directly to me with the words and scripture I need to hear most. The guests she invites provide great insight and
resources as well. This podcast has been a true blessing in this season of my life.

Powerful, Hope-Filled Ministry

This podcast is so uplifting and inspiring for mothers who have lost a little one.
Turning to faith is something that both takes strength and gives strength in a
time when everything seems to be falling apart. I recommend this for any
grieving mothers who are looking for new hope after loss.

Hope and Healing

I am so grateful that this podcast is available! I work as a Labor & Delivery nurse and walk through this with some of my patients. I'm so thankful to not only have this podcast to help me to love and care for my grieving patients better but also to pass this podcast on to them to give them hope and help walk them through their grief and healing.

Encouraging, Relatable, and Christ-Centered

This podcast is such an encouraging resource for those who have lost babies
at any stage! Ashley is compassionate and listening to her feels like talking with
a dear friend. The stories are so relatable and ultimately point listeners to the
hope we have in Jesus.
